Listen again here:
- Itchy scalp: This can be dermatitis which is usually caused by an allergy to sodium lauryl sulphate, a foaming agent added to shampoos and body washes. Try a natural SLS free shampoo. It can also be a fungal issue: massage grapefruit seed extract into the scalp and then wash as usual. Can also be added to shampoo – we recommend Jason Anti-Dandruff shampoo.
- Hayfever: Quercetin, stinging nettle, vitamin B6, vitamin c are natural anti-histamines. We love Macanta Quercetin Complex or Biocare Quercetin. Homeopathic remedies also can work wonders: try Dr.Vogel Luffa or Pollinasan. Haybalm rubbed under the nose can trap pollen and cut down on symptoms.
- Bloating: Usually as a result of gas built up by gut bacteria fermenting undigested food. Try a digestive enzyme and a probiotic to improve digestion and gut health. You may need a cleanse – try NutriAdvanced CandexSIBO or Nordic DIDA. Another wonderful product is Optibac 1 Week Flat – great before an event.
- Fat around the middle: Try low carb diet and products such as CLA, Garcinia Cambogia. Nordics Fat Burner gets good feedback from customers, as well as their Apple Cider product.
- Shingles: Try homeopathic hypericum for the nerve inflammation. Dr. Clare Irritated Skin cream on the skin. Olive leaf extract as an immune support and powerful anti-viral. L-Lysine can also help – take 1000mg X 6 times a day.
- Inflamed Skin: Comfrey is a herb that can help knit skin back together to speed up slow healing. Dr, Clare Healing cream for the inflammation. Take Vitamin C and zinc to improve skin healing from the inside.
